Scott Thomas started his career in 1987 with Job Corp. receiving Tune-up Tech & Service station attendant certificates. In 1989, Scott received his degree in Automotive Repair from Chemeka Community College. Then, he joined the United States Marine Corps and specialized as a Motor-T Mechanic from 1991 to 1996.

After many years of experience in the automotive repair industry he started his own business named “Affordable Automotive Repair” and has continued ever since. Scott & Jennifer Thomas began running the business together in 1997 and throughout the years they have continued their education in the automotive repairs. Scott has stayed on top of the technology in the automotive industry and is Master ASE Certified. Jennifer received her Alldata Certificate in 2005.

Scott took a short break away from his business to teach automotive repairs at the Job Corps. There he successfully mentored and taught many students. There was a high demand from the community that wanted him back due to his honesty, integrity, and affordable rates. So, he return back to his business.

Affordable Automotive Repair has recently relocated from 3885 Amber St., Salem, OR 97301 to 888 Monmouth Cutoff Rd. Bldg B., Dallas, OR 97338.
